Indeed, the RAW situation and megapixel excess may have thrown cold water on the P6000 way too early.

As you pointed out, the big IF is the LX3 image quality. We all read too many "press release" promises from Venus and Friends, can they deliver this time?

Thanks for the list. It seems that LX3 has is still quite attractive even after the micro 4/3 standard and Nikon P6000 announcements. It still remains to be seen if the image quality and handling (autofocus and shutter lag etc.) deliver what is promised.

That is a good point. There have been some pros/cons mentioned on the finder, but if it's seen as a pro as it is, then it's certainly a great alternative to the LCD live view only option.

A number 11 that outshines many of the first 10 is the accessory optical viewfinder. If the write speed of this camera is considerably faster than my LX2, then the finder will dramatically change the way people use P&S cameras.
