According to computer-translated DC Watch, the Casio Ex-F1 is getting new software that allow PC computers to control the camera. There are more details, but unless you speak fluent computer-translated Japanese, it's probably a good idea to wait until the english translations come out.
The biggest problem of course for the Casio EX-F1 is its price, which remains at $1000, which is quite high considering the prices of the many other digital cameras in the market. But the EX-F1 has its own mini-niche, which is where it lives.
