Yes, the new Canon G10 is now officially out of the bag. As regular G10 hunters know already, the G10 was part of the Pop Photo leak of a couple of weeks ago.

Digic 4 is interesting - whether the processor can get good enough image quality out of the 15 MP sensor.
Compared to Panasonic LX3, Canon G9 loses at ISO 400 and above. Increasing the pixel density does not necessarily mean much more noise, but this remains to be seen.
Indeed! The pixel difference between the G10 and LX3 is now significant, 15mp vs 10mp. I hope the review sites do detailed side-by-side reviews/comparisons!
