Casio EX-F1 gets its first review (NY Times)

Not a full review, but more of a user/experience review by the New York Times tech editor and comedian-in-training David Pogue. We saw this discussed in the dpreview News forum.

Pogue has posted a two page review, but don't expect resolution charts, performance benchmarks and such. Nevertheless, it is great to see more information on a camera that has remained a mystery since it's double-announcement!

As always we won't be discussing the outcome of the review, so as not to introduce bias in the interpretation of the comments in this early stage. But of interest, in that review, we learn that Pogue's great uncle is Harold Edgerton who pioneered high-speed photography in the 30s.

We discussed the lovely EX-F1 here at RAWsumer when it was officially announced as a product in early January 2008.

Even more discussions of the EX-F1 are springing up in the Casio Talk forum at dpreview.
